The CCS Network Infrastructure team aims to innovate voice communication over the next three years by rolling out Jabber soft phone technology across campus. Jabber allows staff and faculty to take their office extensions with them wherever they go – mobile phone, laptop, etc. – and enjoy the same features and enhanced access to voicemail. In the few instances where legacy office phones are still required, CCS will provide upgraded hardware for an improved experience.
