With the implementation of IT governance on campus, the prioritization and approval of high-impact IT projects now occurs as part of a more formal process. The projects listed below were prioritized by the IT Governance Council (ITGC) in 2018. Data Centre Physical Upgrades

CCS is upgrading the U of G data centre to ensure the safety and protection of the valuable information and electronic assets stored on campus.

Human Resources Management System

Human Resources (HR) is replacing U of G’s aging HR management system with a new platform that reinforces HR as a strategic partner for University units.

Integrated Research Information System 

The Office of Research is transitioning to a new Integrated Research Information System to more effectively track research activities and funding on campus. 

Institutional Data Strategy

Institutional Analysis and Research has launched an initiative to develop an institution-wide data strategy to support data-driven decision making based on accessible, comprehensive and reliable sources of data.

Student Evaluation of Teaching and Courses

The Provost's Office and Open Learning & Educational Support will be replacing the University's student course evaluation system with a more robust and efficient solution.

Student Information Systems Refresh

The Office of Registrarial Services will be adding and updating student modules within the Colleague environment to offer simpler, more user-friendly and personalized experiences that will enable student success and improve administrative efficiencies.
